Fused Light Studio is the only place in Georgia to learn glass casting, and the only place in the United States to learn sandbed techniques.

April 10, 13 and 20: Open-face casting - make a sculpture in glass, from start to finish, in this exclusive three-part workshop. $395 plus materials (usually $40 to $80). Three sessions: April 10, 6:30-8 pm; April 13, 10-3, and April 20, 1 to 4 pm. Click here to register
June 15, 10 am to 4 pm: Working with Salvaged Glass - In this all-day workshop, you'll get the essentials of using window glass, bottles, and other kinds of "waste" glass in a kiln. You'll learn about safety, assessing glass, compatibility, and firing schedules and make a project for firing. $160, includes materials. Click here to register

Sandbed Sculpting create designs in the sand that are carved into glass at high temperatures. This is a playful technique that can easily accommodate both improvisation and fine detail, and can capture texture and gesture.
Organic Casting - turn fruits, vegetables, seeds, wood into glass, in this fun three-part workshop. $195 plus materials (usually $25 to $70).  
Elements of Design in Glass - in two sessions, learn the formal qualities that make art sing, and put them into fused glass projects. $160 plus materials.
